NAKED!
I got Naked (NAKD) to teach investors a lesson. Investing a tiny part of your portfolio with tremendous upside could never be a bad idea. Or could it? I went Naked on January 28, however, I purchased Sundial on February 10 so no one would notice my Home Depot designer barrel.
Late to the party? Who wants to miss out on this millennial investment craze. Room for one more? Just like DraftKings and FanDuel: Lay your bets down and let's get this party started. “Why miss out on all the Robinhood Fun.”
My Naked experience was a bust! The welcome sight of a Canada Goose jacket and a bowl of Campbell's Soup was perfect for the Soul. Words of advice, “Never Get Naked In January !” Especially before the largest snowstorm of the year!
Now to be clear, I am talking about the Naked Brand Group (NAKD) which designs/distributes, women's and men's intimate apparel, and women's swimwear. Naked brand includes the product line of Pleasure State, Davenport, Lovable, Bendon, Fayreform, Naked, VaVoom, and also licenses Heidi Klum and Fredericks of Hollywood.
My Naked journey took me from $2.46 to .70 and back to $1.13 with a back flip into Sundial (SNDL). Hoping to hit new highs in Sundial tomorrow. This buy high and sell higher is not for me. I will stick with what I know my Cloudflare (NET), CrowdStrike (CRWD), Data Dog (DDOG), DraftKings (DKNG), Fastly (FSLY), Fulgent Genetics (FLGT), Magnite (MGNI), Okta (OKTA), Ontrak (OTRK), Opendoor Technologies (OPEN), Pinterest (PINS) and Veeva Systems (VEEV).
Lesson learned! My few hundred shares of Naked did not change the world. Being naked…..definitely a better look on a younger person than this old goat! Now I can relax, sit back and watch the sunrise with my new SunDial (SNDL).
Happy Valentines Day to All,
Investment Mob
